The phone number is staying. The dedicated legal team is staying. The 1974 founding date is staying. The name is not.
On July 1, 2026, Chodola Reynolds Binder — the Windsor law firm a generation of clients know as CRB Law — becomes Stipic Binder Drake Reynolds LLP, online at the new sbdrlaw.ca. The new name marks the firm’s biggest expansion in decades. Three additional lawyers are merging their practices into the firm, widening its reach in corporate, real estate, and estate work.
"We've added the talent to do more for our clients, and the new name reflects that. Stipic Binder Drake Reynolds is CRB Law with a deeper bench,” said Michael Drake, a partner whose name now anchors the rebrand. “Clients get the same people and the same standards, plus deeper support in the areas local businesses and families lean on most.”
A Bigger Team, a Broader Practice
The firm made its name in litigation, insurance and injury work, and that work carries on. What's new is added depth in the corporate, real estate, and estate matters that area businesses and families increasingly need.
Milan Stipic brings a corporate, commercial, real estate, and estates practice; Corinne McConnell focuses on wills and estates; and Erada Sadiq adds real estate, corporate, and commercial experience. Together, they will add depth of experience in:
- Business and corporate law — For entrepreneurs, startups, and established companies, the firm manages incorporations, shareholder and partnership agreements, contract drafting and review, and the everyday legal needs of a growing business.
- Wills and estate planning and estate administration — For families and executors, the firm prepares wills, powers of attorney, and estate plans and guides executors through administering an estate, so clients can protect what they have built and spare their loved ones disputes later on.
- Estate litigation — For families and beneficiaries who cannot agree, the firm represents clients in contested wills, inheritance disputes, and claims against an estate, working to resolve conflicts and protect each client's rightful share.
- Real estate law — For homebuyers, sellers, and commercial property owners, the firm handles purchase agreements, residential closings, commercial leases, and property development, guiding clients from first offer to final registration.
- Employment law — For small employers, the firm now advises on hiring, discipline, terminations, and workplace policies, while continuing to represent employees in wrongful dismissal and severance claims.
